Mr. Brewer previously attended Mauriceville Middle School and graduated from Little Cypress – Mauriceville High School. Upon graduation from high school, Mr. Brewer joined the United States Army and served for four years. After serving in the Army, Mr. Brewer reenlisted in the United States Air Force, serving for six years in the Texas Air National Guard. While serving in the TXANG, Mr. Brewer attended the Southeast Texas Regional Police Academy at Lamar Institute of Technology graduating with honors. Mr. Brewer served as a Peace Officer with the Lamar University Police Department and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office until 2020. Since leaving law enforcement, Mr. Brewer has obtained an Associate of Arts – Liberal Arts, from Lamar State College – Orange (Summa Cum Laude), and a Bachelor’s of Science – University Studies, from Lamar University.
